Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell, also known as mesenchymal stromal cells, are highly valuable in tissue engineering and cell therapy. However, their performance can be significantly by the conditions in which they are cultured and the component of the culture media.
Yocon Biology provides an all-inclusive solutions - ocon MSC SFM (GMP Grade) for isolating, expanding, and differentiating hMSCs. MSC SFM (serum-free medium) is completely defined (CD), serum-free and Xeno-free. It is formulated for the growth and expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs). Using Yocon MSC serum free medium (GMP grade) enables superior hMSC growth and increased consistency compared to classical serum-supplemented medium (DMEM or DMEM/F12 or RPMI1640 + 10% FBS). Using Yocon MSC SFM (GMP Grade), human MSCs can be expanded beyond 20 passages while still maintaining their tri-lineage mesoderm differentiation potential (i.e., ability to differentiate into osteogenic, chondrogenic and adipogenic lineages).
